As such, it requires that plugin developers host their code on github (for free of course). The system relies on github for version control. It doesn't matter whether the plugins are initial alpha releases destined for Plex Online sometime in the future, or mature releases that will never see the full exposure of Plex Online, or anywhere in between. There is no restriction on what sort of plugins will be 'allowed' or what stage of development the plugins must have reached for 'approval'. My intent was to allow plugin developers a simple way to get plugins out to the masses without packaging and uploading plexapp files, updating forum posts and wiki pages and all the other hassles which can go along with the process of developing and maintaining unsupported plugins. A user friendly way to share pluginsI've made a plugin which creates a way for users to easily find, download, install, update, and if necessary, remove unsupported plugins.
